Privacy Policy
1. Data Processing Philosophy
Edgesom adheres to the principle of "Privacy by Design." For our AI Hardware (Toys, Education, Home), we prioritize On-device Inference. This means sensory data (voice, vision) is processed locally on the NPU (Neural Processing Unit) and is not transmitted to our servers unless explicitly required for cloud-based functions.
2. Information We Collect
Business Inquiries: Name, Corporate Email, LinkedIn Profile, and Project Requirements.
Technical Metadata: Device UUID, Firmware Version, and Error Logs for hardware maintenance.
AI Model Interaction: If using our Cloud-LLM APIs, we collect prompt data in a De-identified format to improve model accuracy.
3. Special Section: COPPA & Children's Privacy
As a provider of AI Toy Solutions, we strictly comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR-K.
No Voice/Image Storage: Our AI Toy modules recognize intent but do not store raw audio or visual files of minors.
Parental Consent: We require our OEM partners to implement verified parental consent mechanisms before enabling any cloud-sync features.
4. Data Sovereignty & Enterprise Training
For Enterprise LLM Training, Edgesom offers Private Cloud or On-premise Deployment. All training datasets provided by the client remain the client's exclusive property. We sign rigorous Data Processing Agreements (DPA) to ensure zero data leakage to third-party foundation models.
5. Global Compliance & Data Transfer
We utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international data transfers, ensuring that data moving from the EU/Australia to our R&D centers in Shanghai/Hangzhou receives an equivalent level of protection.
