Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

Edgesom provides:

(i) System-on-Modules (SOM) hardware (supporting Local Processing and Edge-to-Cloud Encryption technologies);

(ii) AI Algorithm integration;

(iii) Custom ODM/OEM manufacturing services.

2. Intellectual Property (IP) Rights

• Background IP: All pre-existing Edgesom hardware designs, firmware, optimized AI model architectures, and core technologies related to Edge AI Local Processing remain the property of Shanghai Hengpai AI Technology Co., Ltd.

  
  

• Foreground IP: For custom-developed projects, the ownership of the final Industrial Design (ID) and specific Software Application layer shall be defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

  
  

3. Quality Assurance & Hardware Warranty

• RMA Policy: We provide a 12-month standard warranty on PCBA components.

  
  

• Certification Responsibility: While our designs follow CE/FCC/RoHS standards, the final product certification for specific regional markets is the responsibility of the Client, with technical support provided by Edgesom.

  
  

4. Ethical AI Use

Clients agree not to use Edgesom’s AI solutions (including hardware with Edge AI capabilities) for unauthorized surveillance, deep-fake generation for illicit purposes, or any activity that violates the human rights laws of the target market.

5. Force Majeure & Supply Chain

Given our supply chain advantages, we strive for 99% on-time delivery. However, Edgesom is not liable for delays caused by global semiconductor shortages or international logistics disruptions beyond our reasonable control.
